Our internal Privacy Policy and Managing Private Information Standard details information about how we collect and process personal information, as well as the rights of INPEX employees (including certain embedded personnel including Contractor Alliance or JV secondees) in relation to the personal information held by INPEX.

What is Personal Information

Personal Information is information that identifies an individual. How we collect Personal Information

Personal Information (including in some situations, Sensitive Personal Information) is principally obtained directly from the relevant person, such as when a job applicant supplies their details through our online recruitment system or when a member of the public makes an inquiry through the Contact Form available on our website.

In some circumstances we may be provided with Personal Information indirectly, such as by third party service providers. For example, onboarding and/or mobilisation of contractor workforce individual(s) via our Contractor Portal to complete a scope of work, when we receive a professional reference, or the results of a competency or pre-employment test through a service provider.

We use your Personal Information only for our legitimate business interests and to comply with regulatory obligations.

These interests include facilitating our internal operations, maintaining proper business records, arranging pre-employment appointments, organising Company facilitated travel, and authenticating worker and visitor access to worksite locations, networks and systems.

For job applicants, we collect Personal Information via our online recruitment system for the primary purpose of considering applications for employment with INPEX, including any test or assessment (including medical tests) that might be required as part of employment at INPEX.

We may also use Personal Information for secondary purposes closely related to the primary purpose, in circumstances where such use or disclosure would reasonably be expected.

If we are unable to collect or hold Personal Information for these business purposes, it may affect our ability to perform necessary functions.

When we collect Personal Information, we will, where appropriate and where possible, explain why we are collecting the information and how we plan to use it.

The commitments in this Statement apply to those disclosures.
